TravelPass tickets are designed for frequent train, bus and ferry transport users and allow unlimited weekly, quarterly or yearly travel throughout designated zones or sections.
There is a range of TravelPasses for combinations of CityRail, Sydney Buses and Sydney Ferries services. Simply choose the TravelPass that suits you.
Purchase your weekly TravelPass from:
CityRail suburban stations, from the ticket vending machine or ticket office
Most newsagents on bus routes (including selected newsagents in the city)
Sydney Ferries ticket offices or vending machines at Circular Quay and Manly wharves
Sydney Buses sales outlets (TransitShops)
TravelPasses are not valid on premium services, including Explorer buses, special sporting shuttles and Manly JetCats. Travel is permitted on Manly JetCats, however, when the Manly Ferry is not operating.
Tickets become active when first used, except those purchased from CityRail and Sydney Ferries outlets, which are active upon purchase. If a ticket is first activated after 3.00pm the expiry date is the current date plus seven days and tickets are valid until 4.00am the morning after the expiry date.
TravelPasses are non-transferable and only weekly TravelPasses are available at concession fares.
Quarterly and Yearly TravelPasses (Adult fares only)
You can enjoy even greater savings if you invest in a TravelPass over a longer term.
Quarterly and Yearly TravelPasses are available from selected CityRail stations, Sydney Buses depots, Sydney Buses sales outlets and the Sydney Ferries Information Centre at Circular Quay opposite Wharf 4.
Note: Pittwater and Two Zone TravelPasses are only available from selected newsagents and shops or Sydney Buses sales outlets.

Train + bus + ferry TravelPasses Red TravelPass
Gives you unlimited travel on CityRail services in the area bounded by Bondi Junction, Rockdale, Bardwell Park, Canterbury, Croydon and Chatswood stations. Plus unlimited travel on Sydney Buses in the red area – zones 1, 3, 6 and 7 as well as unlimited travel on Sydney Ferries inner harbour services (the inner harbour includes all wharves except Manly, beyond Meadowbank and event services).
Note:
TravelPass tickets do not entitle the holder to enter or exit at any Airport Line station. If customers wish to enter/exit at these stations, the cost of a GatePass must be paid.
Green TravelPass
Gives you unlimited travel on CityRail services in the area bounded by Bondi Junction, Kogarah, Kingsgrove, Regents Park, Bankstown (via Lidcombe or Sydenham), Epping, Chatswood and Olympic Park stations. Plus unlimited travel on Sydney Buses in the red and green area - zones 1 to 8 and unlimited travel on all Sydney Ferries, excluding Manly JetCats and event services.

Yellow TravelPass
Gives you unlimited travel on CityRail services in the area bounded by Bondi Junction, Waitara (via North Sydney), Epping (via North Strathfield), Camellia, Parramatta, Chester Hill, Panania, Jannali and Olympic Park stations. Plus unlimited travel on Sydney Buses in the red and green areas – zones 1 to 8 and unlimited travel on all Sydney Ferries, excluding Manly JetCats and event services.

Yellow TravelPass (Newcastle area)
Gives you unlimited travel on CityRail services in the area bounded by Thorton, Newcastle and Booragul stations. Plus unlimited travel on Newcastle Buses within the Newcastle suburban area (except on sporting bus services) and the Stockton Ferry service. Plus unlimited travel on Sydney Buses in the red and green area – zones 1 to 8 and unlimited travel on all Sydney Ferries, excluding Manly JetCats and event services.

Pink TravelPass (Newcastle area)

Orange TravelPass
