Toilets

Unisex accessible toiletToilets and unisex accessible toilets designed for wheelchair access are available on selected stations and trains. Standard pictograms indicate which type of toilet is available: male, female, disabled or unisex accessible.

All customers can use the unisex accessible toilets where provided, and these are indicated by the pictogram showing a wheelchair, and male and female symbols.

The type of toilet varies but they are designated with pictograms showing male, female, disabled or unisex accessible symbols.

Where provided, unisex accessible toilets may be used by all customers and are denoted by the pictogram with the wheelchair, male and female symbols.

Stations
Not all stations have toilets. Where they are provided, they are generally located in the paid area of the station either on the concourse or at platform level. The toilets have manual doors with manual locking mechanisms. A baby change table is included in most unisex accessible toilets on stations.

Toilets may be closed for cleaning or security reasons, so please ask station staff for access. Toilets at some locations can be remotely unlocked by station staff on request. Toilets may also be locked outside station staffing hours for security reasons.

Trains
Outer suburban and regional trains have toilets on board. Outer suburban Tangaras and Oscars, and the regional Endeavour and Hunter car services, all have unisex accessible toilets with power assisted doors. There is an accessible path between the accessible toilet and allocated wheelchair space/s on the Oscar, Endeavour and Hunter cars. The Hunter and Endeavour toilets also include a baby change table.

Toilets, but not accessible toilets, are available on intercity services. Suburban trains (silver sets, Tangaras and Millenniums) do not have toilet facilities.
